2025 MADE Hoops NYC Clash Top Performers

On Saturday, April 26, we caught the action at Maurice Fitzgerald Gymnasium on the campus of Queens College out in Flushing, Queens for the MADE Hoops NYC Clash. The event featured plenty of independent teams from the Northeast, as well as the teams from the Made Hoops Circuit. In the tournament, there were many underclassmen showcasing their skills on the floor, as well as some seniors from the class of 2025 that are still trying to earn collegiate scholarships. Here are the standouts from this weekend’s event.


Rauan Rodrigues (2025) 7’1, center, Putnam Science Academy New Haven Heat - A center that has the ability to be a formidable presence in the low post area. Is able to dominate on both ends of the court, as he is a true enforcer that is able to alter or block shots on the defensive end, keeping the opposition from scoring. Is known for putting the ball on the floor and is able to drive to the basket and finish efficiently when going to the rim.

 

Jonovan Bracey (2026) 6’6, small forward, King School, New Haven Heat - A forward that is able to make solid plays when on the wing, as he is known as one of his team’s go-to players. Has the ability to showcase his athleticism on both ends of the court, as he is able to drive to the basket and finish at the rim. Knows when to crash the boards to get rebounds.

 

Tavien Tyler (2025) 5’7, point guard, Mount Vernon High School, Mount Vernon Elite - A guard that has the ability to hold his own on the floor, even though he has a diminutive frame. Has the ability to make his presence felt on the court, as he is a facilitator that will find a way to put his teammates in position to score. Has the ability to shoot mid-range jumpers and also get to the basket in transition.

 

Aaron Woodberry (2026) 6’2, shooting guard, Woodlands High School, Mount Vernon Elite - A guard that has the ability to be an offensive threat when he has the ball in his hands. Has the ability to shoot from long range and can create for himself in transition. Has the ability to get to the basket easily and can finish efficiently.

 

Sincere Folk (2026) 6’0, point guard, East Catholic High, New York Jayhawks - A guard that has the ability to be a leader when he has control of the offense. Has excellent court vision and is able to put his teammates in position to score at all times. Has a penchant for finding multiple ways to score, especially when it comes to getting past defenders and getting to the basket.

 

Luka Lohkmanchuk (2025) 6’8, forward, The Patrick School (NJ), New York Jayhawks - A forward that has plenty of skill on the floor and has the ability to make plays when on the court. Is able to put the ball on the floor and can get to the basket and finish efficiently. Is known for being a threat from three-point range, as he shoots at a high volume.

 

Preston Merrick (2025) 6’5, shooting guard, Hotchkiss School (CT), New York Jayhawks - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt when on the floor. Has a penchant for using his strength on both ends of the court and has the ability for creating for himself in transition. Possesses plenty of athleticism when he is on the floor, as he is able to finish efficiently when on the floor.

 

Brandon Burrell (2026) 6’1, shooting guard, Mamaroneck High School, 6th Boro Hoops - (Harvard University commit) A guard that is very shifty and is able to see the floor whenever he is in transition. Has a penchant for distributing the ball to his teammates, as he looks to put them in position to score. Likes to shoot at a high volume at all times, especially when left open.


Maruan Cicic (2025) 7’0, forward, Hoosac School, 6th Boro Hoops - A forward that is very mobile and skilled and is able to be a force on both ends of the court for his team. Is able to put the ball on the floor and is able to get the ball on the perimeter and get his shot off efficiently. Is very hard to contain when it comes to matching up with him, as he is able to get past defenders with a quick first step.

 

Aleksa Viajic (2025) 6’10, forward, Hoosac School, 6th Boro Hoops - A forward that has the ability to be a formidable presence on both ends of the court and is a very versatile player. Is a high-volume shooter that is known for getting his shot off efficiently and always finds ways to get open on the three-point line. Has the ability to make smooth moves to the basket, as he is able to use solid post moves and can also put the ball on the floor and can drive to the hole.

 

Sebastian Wilkins (2026) 6’7, small forward, Brewster Academy (NH), Mass Rivals - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt on the court in various ways. Has the ability to obtain rebounds at a fast rate and is able to outwork the opposition in the low post. Has the ability to drive to the basket and is able to possess his athletic skills when going to the basket. Has a penchant for stepping out and hitting mid-range jumpers.

 

Warren Keel, Jr. (2027) 5’9, point guard, Putnam Science Academy (CT), Mass Rivals - A guard that has the ability to be a solid playmaker for his team. Is a player that possesses a lot of speed and is able to get past the opposition with a quick first step. Is great at finding his teammates and putting them in position to score at all times. Is known for driving to the basket and scoring at will.

 

Flavio Jean (2025) 6’0, guard, Brooklyn Collegiate High School, CM3 Elite - A guard that is tough and is a true defensive on-the-ball presence that will challenge the opposition through 94 feet and is prone to obtaining steals. Is a good playmaker that is known for seeing where his teammates are at and will find ways to put them in position to score. Likes to drive to the basket and is a good finisher.
