2025 EYBL Memphis Standouts

On Saturday, May 18, we got ourselves to the Memphis Sports and Events Center for the second session of the Nike EYBL game play. Throughout the day, we got to see some of the New York City area’s finest talent on display on both the 16u and 17u levels. Here are some of the standouts from Session 2:

Joshua Rivera 6-5, Forward, Archbishop Stepinac High School, New York Rens 16U, Class of 2027 -A forward that has plenty of size and has plenty of court vision and is able to give his teammates the ball when they’re open. Is able to attack in transition and can drive to the basket and finish efficiently. Has a penchant for hitting mid-range jumpers he has the opportunity.
Dylan Cudjoe 6-7, Forward, Lawrence Woodmere Academy, New York Rens 16U, Class of 2027 - A forward that has a long wingspan and has the ability to obtain rebounds and is able to showcase his athleticism when going to the basket. Has a penchant for throwing down powerful dunks. Has great shot-blocking ability and likes to run in transition after rebounding.
Caleb Ourigou 6-11. Forward, Lawrence Woodmere Academy, New York Rens 16U, Class of 2027 - A forward that is a powerful force in the low post area and has excellent footwork. Has the ability to put the ball on the floor and can dominate against the opposition. Is prone to hitting floaters when going to the basket and also finishing above the rim. Has the ability to obtain rebounds and can block shots.
Jacob Canton 6-3, Shooting Guard, Rutgers Preparatory School (NJ), PSA Cardinals 16U, Class of 2027 - A guard that is quick and crafty and is known for making big plays on the court. Is able to drive past the opposition and score in bunches. Has a penchant for attacking the basket and is able to finish efficiently when going to the basket. Is able to hit mid-range jumpers as well.
Moussa Kamissoko 6-8. Forward, Long Island Lutheran High School, PSA Cardinals 16U, Class of 2027 - A forward that is very skilled and has plenty of moves that he uses in his act. Although he has plenty of size, he is able to handle the ball on the perimeter and can drive past the opposition. Is a very athletic player that likes to obtain rebounds on both ends of the court and can finish efficiently at the basket.
Jordan Sutton 6-10, Forward, Stamford High School, New York Lightning 16U, Class of 2027 - A forward that has plenty of length and can hold his own in the post area. Is a solid rebounder that can make his presence felt when he is in the paint area at both ends of the court. Is able to step outside of the post area and display his shooting touch from around 15 feet. Is able to finish efficiently at the rim.
Yandel German 5-11, Point Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, New York Lightning 16U, Class of 2027 - A guard that has quickness and is able to hold his own on both ends of the court. Is able to stick with his man on the defensive end and is able to obtain steals. Has a penchant for distributing the ball to his teammates and putting them in position to score on the offensive end.
Na’Jai Hines 6-10, Forward, Plainfield High School (NJ), New York Rens 17U, Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to be a force in the low post. Is able to put the ball on the floor and can outwork the opposition to get to the basket. Is able to finish with strength and precision when going to the basket. Is able to obtain plenty of rebounds on both ends of the court and can also block shots on the defensive end.
Anderson Diaz 6-1, Point Guard, Lawrence Woodmere Academy, New York Rens 17U, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the court as a true floor general. Is able to see the court and is able to create for himself on the dribble. Is able to distribute to his teammates when on the offensive end. Is able to get his shot off efficiently.
Troy Fason, Jr. 5-11, Point Guard, Lawrence Woodmere Academy, New York Lightning 17U, Class of 2027 - A guard that has plenty of quickness when on the floor and is able to attack in transition. Has a penchant for finding his teammates and putting them in position to score when they are on the break. Is able to finish effectively the going to the basket.
Elhadji Diallo 6-8, Forward, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, New York Lightning 17U, Class of 2026 - A forward that has the ability to be a strong inside presence when he is in the low post. Has a penchant for blocking shots and obtaining rebounds, as well as using his physicality to aid his team on both ends of the court. Has the ability to score in multiple ways and is able to finish with power when going to the rim.
Amir Dickerson 6-2, Shooting Guard, Amityville High School, New York Lightning 17U, Class of 2026 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the floor and is able to attack in transition. Is a player that is known for crashing the boards and is prone to showcasing his athleticism, especially on the offensive end. Also has a good shooting touch when he’s around the three-point line.
