2025 Rens United 17u-Snoddy Player Profiles

Rens United is an high academic oriented team affiliated with the renown NY Rens program. The program is New York City based but players are sourced from multiple states. They have a strong history of sending athletes to high-academic universities at all three levels across the northeast.
The 17u-Snoddy team is head coached by Andre Snoddy. Snoddy just finished playing D1 ball for Stony Brook and Central Connecticut, after prepping at national prep power, St Thomas More.

#6 Callen Murphy (2026) 6’1 guard, Blair Academy (NJ) - Highly skilled lefty guard with a deep scoring bag and advanced feel for the game. Capable of scoring at all three levels with touch, pace, and creativity. Thrives in pick-and-roll situations where he consistently makes the right read and delivers precise passes. Has a natural knack for manipulating defenders and creating for others. One of the top playmakers on the team with leadership qualities and a high basketball IQ. Projects as a true lead guard at the next level.
#8 Amir Ibrahim (2026) 6’6 forward, Sanford Calhoun High - Effort-first forward who brings energy, communication, and team-first mentality every game. Rebounds out of his area, runs the floor hard, and defends multiple positions. Doesn’t need plays run for him to be impactful — crashes the glass, sets great screens, and makes hustle plays that don’t always show on the stat sheet. The emotional leader of the team and a culture-driver. Glue guy with size who helps elevate teammates and maintain team chemistry on and off the court. 3.8 gpa
#9 Dell Mance (2026) 6’4 guard, Knox School - Physically gifted combo guard with strength, athleticism, and tenacity. Tough to keep out of the paint — uses his frame to absorb contact and finish or draw fouls. Makes a living at the free throw line and gets downhill with purpose. Defensively, he’s a disruptive force in passing lanes and known for timely gap steals. Transitions defense into offense as well as anyone. Intangibles stand out — vocal, competitive, and embraces tough assignments. Ideal two-way guard with a college-ready body and mindset. 3.6 gpa
#11 Julien Wiggins (2027) 6’0 guard, Westminster School (CT) -Dynamic two-way guard with elite quickness and burst. Puts constant pressure on opposing ball handlers with his disruptive perimeter defense. Offensively, he excels at breaking down defenders, getting into the lane, and finishing through contact or over size. Crafty in pick-and-rolls and can score in a variety of ways — floaters, midrange pull-ups, and from three. Still developing physically, but has clear high-major tools and competitiveness. Big-time upside as a high-motor, impact guard. Recently offered by Caldwell University and D’youville University. 3.6 gpa
#13 Connor Robinson (2026) 6’6 wing Brunswick School (CT) - Versatile, positionless wing who checks all the boxes. Elite shooter with deep range and quick release — can hit spot-ups, off-movement, and pick-and-pop threes. Robinson has an extremely high basketball IQ, knows how to play, and consistently makes winning plays. Guards multiple positions (1–4) thanks to his size, lateral movement, and anticipation. Leads the team in minutes and rebounding and serves as a vocal leader. Offers immediate value as a floor-spacer and two-way contributor with long-term starting wing potential. 3.8 gpa
#20 Bryce Thomas (2026) 5’10 point guard, White Plains High - Hard-nosed, defensive-minded guard who plays with relentless energy. Picks up full court, harasses opposing guards, and sets the tone with his toughness. Offensively, continues to develop as a playmaker in transition and out of the pick-and-roll. Makes smart decisions with the ball and sees the floor well in open space. What he lacks in size, he makes up for with heart, effort, and a fearless mentality. Every team needs a guy like Thomas — he’s a tone-setter and culture piece.
#25 Brendan Mathey (2026) 6’5 wing, Newman School (MA) - Smooth-shooting wing with length and feel. Can hit shots from deep with a clean, quick release — effective both off the catch and on movement. Stretches the floor and adds spacing while also showing flashes of attacking off closeouts with two-foot drives. Uses his size well defensively to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots. As he adds strength and improves consistency attacking the rim, his value as a floor-spacing, multi-level scoring wing continues to rise. 3.5 gpa
#33 Brian Vales (2026) 6’6 forward, Mount Sinai High - Strong, skilled forward who understands how to operate inside. Exceptional hands and footwork make him a reliable finisher around the rim. Shows touch with both hands and has a natural feel for offensive rebounding and positioning. High motor and physical presence allow him to bang with bigs but also switch onto wings in certain matchups. Fundamentally sound and coachable — the type of player who impacts the game through effort and savvy rather than flash. 3.8 gpa
#35 Hunter Stoll (2026) 6’8 wing, Choate Rosemary Hall (CT) - Intriguing high-upside wing with guard-like mobility at 6’8. Can shoot it with range and confidence, stretching the floor in both spot-up and pick-and-pop situations. Long, wiry athlete who runs the floor well and changes ends quickly. Defensively, has the potential to guard multiple positions with added strength. Big-time long-term upside as a modern wing/forward hybrid who can shoot, switch, and move without the ball. One to track closely as his body and confidence continue to develop. 3.7 gpa
