Founded in 1904, The Knox School is Long Island’s oldest established private school. Knox is a progressive, co-ed, independent college preparatory boarding and day school located on 40 acres of serene waterfront property along the North Shore of Long Island, New York.

The basketball program is in the midst of a significant ramp up under Head Coach Jared Grasso. Coach Grasso is the former head coach of D1 Bryant College, where among other accolades, he was named NEC Coach of the Year in the 2021-22 season. Last year was Coach Grasso’s first at Knox, and to call it a success would be an understatement. The team dominated the Empire 8 Prep League and rose to #26 in the National Prep Team Computer Rankings. This season, the team will also compete in the high level Power 5 AAA conference.

The Knox School will again be hosting a schedule of Fall Open Gym runs for college scouts to attend.
