2025-26 St. Raymond High Player Profiles

Founded in 1963, St. Raymond High School is an all-boys parochial high school, located in the Parkchester section of the Bronx. The boys varsity basketball team competes in the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) AA Division and has a strong tradition, with the team often competing for and winning championships, including city championships.

 

The team is head coached by Jorge Lopez who is heading into his 14th season at the helm. The 2025-26 Ravens have a number of talented players, as we profile below.

Najay Bess (2026) 6’5 guard - Bess is a big guard playmaker. He is able to get to the basket with ease and can attack in transition. He gets his shot off efficiently, especially when it is a midrange jumper. Bess has a great defensive presence, and he generates steals. Plays grassroots ball with Riverside Hawks.


Ibrahima Camara (2026) 6’8 forward - Camara defends the paint and rebounds with toughness and athleticism. Offensively he has great footwork in the post with an assortment of post moves. Plays grassroots ball with Castle Athletics.


Luis Carrillo Moss (2026) 6’8 forward - Moss was an unique threat during the 2025 City title game. 6He is a mismatch and floor spreader. He often erupts multiple timely 3-pointers. He also crashes the lane and can operate in the back-to-the-basket and face up post game. He guards the rim well. Plays grassroots ball with Wiz Kids.


Hassan Cisse (2026) 6’3 guard - Cisse is shifty, crafty and hard driving. He can also step out and fire in the 3. He plays with boundless energy defensively and is a defensive weapon against opposing guards. Plays grassroots ball with Kips Bay Mustangs.

 

Jomar Fuentes (2026) 6’1 shooting guard - Fuentes is a sharpshooter who poses a constant threat from beyond the arc. His exceptional ability to spot up and shoot with precision can dismantle any zone defense. He not only contributes offensively but also shows his versatility by crashing the boards. He is particularly deadly from the corners, and his smooth handle allows him to transition effortlessly into his mid-range jumper. Reliable and consistent, Fuentes’ offensive capabilities make him a key player, always ready to step up and deliver when needed. Plays grassroots ball with Rens United. 3.0 gpa

 

Elvis Crespo (2026) 6’7 forward - Crespo has size and improves his team’s interior defense. He provides energy and competes on the court.

 

Jacob Dyson (2027) 6’6 power forward - The Ravens are developing another gem in Dyson. He’s got great touch and well-developed post moves. He hits contested shots and knows how to produce.

 

Baker Aaron Jimenez (2027) 6’3 2024 All Gym Rat 10th Grade First Team.

 

Zaire ‘ZaZa’ Johnson (2027) 5’9 point guard - Has been offered by Fairleigh Dickinson. Plays grassroots ball with Kips Bay Mustangs.


Juan Quinones-Arizala (2027) 6’9 forward - Quinones-Arizala is very athletic and runs the floor well. He finishes above the rim. He is a force onto boards and as arim protector. Plays grassroots ball with New Heights.
