The Eagles varsity basketball team is coached by fourth year coach Ryan Woods . They compete in the New York City AA conference of the CHSAA. They are coming off a 15-11 2024-25 season.

 


The Eagles 2025-26 key players are profiled below.

 

#5 Dennis Corson (2026) 5’7 point guard - Corson is fast and quick, with a solid handle.  He is also an excellent on-ball defender. He uses quickness and toughness to shoot gaps for steals and deflections.  He has the ability to finish at the rim and in the paint with floaters and has improved his perimeter shooting.


#23 Nico Parlanti (2026) 6’3 wing - Parlanti is tough, active and athletic. He played significant minutes as a junior as the 6th man. He has ability to finish strong at the rim and finish in transition.  He has improved his outside shooting and consistency from 3. Parlanti is a tough on-ball defender and will be a significant contributor this season. He is recveiving significant D3 interest.


#33 Aaron Vazquez (2027) 6’2 forward - Vazquez is strong and physical. He is excellent around the rim with either hand.  He is a high volume rebounder on both ends, has a knack for the ball.  He is a strong post defender and will be a significant contributor this season. 


#12 Sean Gannon (2027) wing - Gannon is athletic and active, with a great feel for the game.  He is unselfish, tough and physical and a very good rebounder for his size.  He is a playmaker in half court and in transition.  He has the ability to finish at the rim with either hand.


#34 Sal Fragiglio (2027) power forward - Fragiglio is a skilled and versatile lefty with a great touch and feel in the paint. He has expanded his mid-range and outside shooting.  Fragiglio is a good rebounder and will be a strong contributor on both ends this season.


#3 Victor Baez (2027) wing Baez is dynamic, strong and physical. He finishes well at the rim and in transition.  He has shown the ability to get to his spots in the mid-range and make shots.  Baez has improved his outside shot and is an effective on-ball defender.


#12 Noah Scott (2028) point guard - Scott will be a contributor this season as a sophomore.  He is an excellent on-ball defender with great hands and quick first step.  He is able to finish in the paint and through contact.  He has improved his outside shooting.


#24 Ryan Freeman (2028) forward - Freeman is athletic, effective in the paint and at finishing at the rim.  He is a solid rebounder who can guard multiple positions and finish in transition.
