Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School is located in the East Elmhurst neighborhood of Queens. Their varsity boys basketball team is coached by Anthony Olszewski in his 12th season at the helm. They compete in the New York Catholic High School Athletic Association A Division.

McClancy is entering this season with a lot of energy. Filling the void left by City Champion and All League center Joseph Werner ’25 (Alfred University) will be a major task. Due to their youthful inexperience they will rely heavily upon returning players Justin Williams ’26, Brayden Ojeda ’27, Andrew Fischer ’26 and Aidan Fontanez ‘26. Brayden Ojeda returns after leading the team in scoring as a sophomore. Andrew Fischer brings high energy and enthusiasm as the third returning starter.  Aidan Fontanez bring solid outside shooting and wide shoulders on the block to cause mismatches with smaller defenders. The roster is comprised of some fast-moving, hard playing and tough as nails guards arriving from the JV team. Their goal is to make McClancy the team everyone hates to play.

McClancy is proud to be competing in the annual Tom Konchalski Classic on 12/7 @ Archbishop Molloy. McClancy will also be traveling to West Palm Beach, Florida for the Holiday Classic of the Palm Beaches for a 3 game tournament December 26th-31st. All of their HOME games are streamed via NFHS.  Their game 2025-26 schedule and results can be found by clicking here
