2026 Catholic High School Semi-finals Top Performers

On Tuesday night, February 17, we made it to Mount St. Michael Academy in the Wakefield section of The Bronx for the CHSAA Archdiocesan semifinals. The Final Four teams from the AA division, St. Raymond, Cardinal Hayes, Monsignor Scanlan and the three-time defending champions, Archbishop Stepinac played to advance to the title game. Cardinal Hayes and Archbishop Stepinac prevailed and will face off which will be taking place on Saturday afternoon. Below are the standouts from Tuesday’s games.
Malik Fields 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardinal Hayes High School, Class of 2026 (Quinnipiac University commit) - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on both ends of the court, especially since he’s active on the boards. Has the ability to drive to the basket and can finish efficiently. Has a nice midrange jumper and can also shoot from three-point range.
Amadou Barry 6-9, Forward, Cardinal Hayes High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has the ability to show off his versatility in multiple ways and can put the ball on the floor and muscle his way to the basket. Due to his frame, he is able to use his physicality to his advantage. Has a nice shooting touch from long-range, especially if he is left unguarded.
Christian Brown 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardinal Hayes High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to be a force on the offensive end. Has the ability to be weapon when it comes to scoring, especially from three-point range, as he is able to bury a team with his shooting. Has plenty of athleticism, as he is able to go to the basket and score at the rim.
Elijah Jenkins 6-3, Shooting Guard, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to display his skills on the offensive end. Is able to obtain rebounds with ease and likes to run in the fast break. Has the ability to get his shot off efficiently from three-point range, especially when he’s open.
Todd Arrington 5-10, Point Guard, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2029 - A guard that has the ability to see the floor and is able to distribute the ball to his teammates, especially when they’re on the fast break. Is a great defender, who has the ability to challenge the opposition into turning over he ball. Knows when to attack in transition and can finish strong in the lane.
Javan Webb 6-6, Forward, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that is versatile in many ways. Is able to hold his own in the post area and is able to draw fouls and get to the free throw line. Has the ability to get to the basket with ease and is also able to hit mid-range jumpers when the opportunity presents itself.
Heathe-Thro Healings 6-2, Shooting Guard, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that possesses a lot of quickness and has the ability to get to the basket with ease. Has the ability to create for himself and is able to get his shot off easily from mid-range. Has the ability to absorb contact and is able to get to the free-throw line.
Jasiah Jervis 6-5, Shooting Guard, Archbishop Stepinac High School (Michigan State University commit), Class of 2026 - A guard that has plenty of skills and is able to put them to good use. Is able to play in transition and is able an outstanding three-point shooter and is able to get to the basket and finish easily. Is a solid defender, as he is able to obtain steals and force the opposition into turning over the ball.
Darius Ratliff 7-0, Forward, Archbishop Stepinac High School, Class of 2026 (University of Southern California commit) - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt on both ends of the court. Is able to be an efficient shot-blocker and rebounder on the defensive end and is also able to dominate in the low post. Is able to step out and hit clutch jumpers from three.
Josh Rivera 6-7, Forward, Archbishop Stepinac High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has the ability to show off his versatility on the offensive end, as he has plenty of length and is able to post up smaller players and is able to attack in transition. Is able to shoot from three-point range and is able to drive to the top of the key to hit mid-range jumpers and drive to the basket. Has the ability to crash the boards and then drive to the other end of the cour.t
