2026 CHSAA AA Quarterfinals Top Performers

On Sunday, March 1, RecruitTheBronx.com made it to the legendary Rose Hill Gymnasium on the campus of Fordham University in The Bronx for the CHSAA AA quarterfinals, of which we caught the final three games. In addition to Holy Cross advancing to the semifinals in the earlier game, we saw Archbishop Stepinac, Monsignor Scanlan and Cardinal Hayes advance themselves to the next round which takes place on March 4, also at Fordham. Below are the standouts for the latter three games.

 

Jasiah Jervis 6-5, Shooting Guard, Archbishop Stepinac High School, Class of 2026 (Michigan State University commit) - A guard that has plenty of awareness of what is going on at both ends of the court. Is able to obtain steals by playing tough defense on the opposition. Has a nice shooting touch when hitting jumpers. Has the ability to showcase his athletic ability when driving to the basket.


Adonis Ratliff 7-0, Forward, Archbishop Stepinac High School, Class of 2026 (University of Southern California commit) - A forward that is able to dominate not just in the paint, but also in other areas of the floor. Has a penchant for shooting a mid-range jumper, especially if left open. Has the ability to play above the rim and is a solid finisher when around the basket. Is a great rebounder on both ends of the court and is a great shot blocker.


Tommy Wolf 6-4, Shooting Guard, Iona Preparatory School, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the offensive end. Has the ability to draw fouls, as he is able to absorb physical contact while driving into the lane and finishing at the hole. Has a nice shooting touch, whether from mid-range or from three-point range. Is able to distribute the ball to his teammates when the opportunity allows.


Heathe’ro Healings 6-3, Shooting Guard, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to break down the opposition in multiple ways. Has a penchant for driving past his defender and getting to the basket in transition and finishing. Due to his strength, he is able to absorb contact and get to the free-throw line. Has a good jumper, which he is able to use at certain points in the game.


Javan Webb 6-6, Forward, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that has the ability to use his versatility in both the paint area and outside of it. Has the ability to outmuscle & outwork the opposition. Is able to drive to the basket and finish with a layup or a dunk. Is able to run in the fast break and can attack the glass for rebounds.


Skye Ragoo 6-3, Point Guard, Christ the King High School, Class of 2028 - A guard that has the ability to showcase his quickness and the ability to score in bunches when in transition. Knows how to finish when going to the basket and can distribute the ball to his teammates when the opportunity comes. Has the ability to hit jumpers when the opportunity presents itself. Has the ability to attack for loose balls and is able to obtain steals.


Filip Runjo 7-0, Forward, Christ the King High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that is very mobile and has a penchant for being an inside presence for his team. Has the ability to put the ball on the floor and can maneuver his way to the basket. Has the ability to block shots and obtain rebounds for his squad.


Christian Brown 6-3, Shooting Guard, Cardinal Hayes High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that brings plenty of energy on the court and is a player that brings tremendous effort. Has a penchant for knocking down deep three-point shots and is a player that can go and crash the boards for rebounds. Is able to run on the fast break and can finish at the rim.


Amadou Barry 6-9, Forward, Cardinal Hayes High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has plenty of versatility and is a very mobile player. Has the ability to put the ball on the floor and muscle his way to the basket. Has a penchant for stepping out into the perimeter and hitting jumpers. Has the ability to alter his opposition’s shots due to his large frame.


Justin Delgado 6-6, Forward, Nazareth High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that has the ability to be a force for his team when on the court. Has plenty of athleticism on both ends of the court and can attack the glass and then run on the fast break. Has the ability to block the opposition’s shots.


A.J. Moody 5-10, Point Guard, Nazareth High School, Class of 2026 - A guard that has the ability to be a great floor general that is able to help his teammates obtain scoring opportunities. Has the ability to see the floor and can see where the players are going at all times. Is able to drive to the basket and finish efficiently. Has the ability to obtain steals, which can turn into offensive opportunities.
