2026 Nate Blue Showcase Standouts

On Thursday, April 9, we attended the 10th annual Nate Blue Showcase, which is a part of the Big Apple Sports Exposure Week. This event is a showcase was held at the Martin Luther King High School Campus and was for high school seniors that are looking to obtain scholarships and are playing in front of NCAA Division II, Division III and NJCAA schools. There was also an underclassmen game, in which some of the best sophomores and juniors in the area showcased their talent on the floor. Here are the standouts from the event:

 

Hadi Adeyi 6-5, Forward, Bright School (CT), Class of 2026- A forward that has the ability to showcase his athleticism in a variety of ways. Is able to operate on a fast break and is able to flash to the other end of the court easily. Is known for his explosiveness, as he is able to throw down powerful dunks. Has great body control when going to the basket for a layup and is able to absorb physical contact. Is also a solid rebounder as well.

 

Cameron Zeigler 6-1, Point Guard, Mount Zion Preparatory School (MD), Class of 2026 - A guard that has the ability to showcase his skills as a ball handler and has good court vision. Is able to find his teammates when they are open or when the opportunity presents itself, so that they can have the ability to score. Has a penchant for hitting jumpers and driving to the basket.

 

Donte Cromwell 6-6, Small Forward, Eagle Academy II, Class of 2026 - A forward that is able to showcase his versatility on the floor in a variety of ways. Is able to put the ball on the floor and can get past the opposition. Is known for showing plenty of explosion when on the floor. Has a penchant for throwing down powerful dunks when going to the rim. Is able to obtain rebounds and then run on a fast break. Is a solid defender that can force the opposition into turning the ball over and can obtain steals that lead to fast break opportunities.


Kelly Griffin, Jr. 6-3, Shooting Guard, Archbishop Molloy High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that is able to make great plays for on the court and brings plenty of versatility. Has the ability to create for himself off the dribble and can get to the basket with ease. Has a penchant for finishing at the basket with explosive ability. Has the ability to shoot from mid-range.

 

Tristan Uzzle 6-3, Shooting Guard, Louis D. Brandeis Educational Campus, Class of 2027 - A guard that possesses a great skill set and has the ability to be a great playmaker on the floor. Has a penchant for shooting from long-range and is a force from three. Is able to put the ball on the floor and can make strong finishes when going to the basket for two.

 

Shane Seymour 6-4, Forward, Brooklyn Collegiate High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has the ability to be a force in the low post area. Uses his physicality and footwork to hold his own in the paint area, when it comes to rebounding and scoring. Is able to finish in transition and is able to explode to the basket and throw down dunks.

 

Bablen Traore 6-6, Forward, Christ the King High School, Class of 2027 - A forward that has the ability to make his presence felt on the floor in multiple ways. Has great athleticism, which he uses on both ends of the court. Is able to drive to the hole and is able to finish strong. Has the ability to block shots on the defensive end and has perfect timing when the ball goes up and is also a great rebounder. Is able to step out and shoot from mid-range.

 

Gaoussou Samake 6-8, Forward, Christ the King High School, Class of 2028 - A forward that has plenty of versatile skills and is able to do plenty of things on the court. Has the ability to step out and shoot from long range when it comes to jumpers. Has the ability to muscle his way to the basket and can attack the glass for rebounds and is also a great finisher at the rim.

 

Jah’da Swann 6-5, Shooting Guard, St. James Performance Academy (VA), Class of 2026 - A guard that has plenty of athleticism, which he uses to his advantage. Has the ability to find his teammates when on the break and can give them passes that could lead to scoring opportunities. Has the ability to finish efficiently when going to the basket for two. Likes to run on the fast break.

 

Ibrahima Camara 6-7, Forward, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that has plenty of strength and is a dominant force in the low-post. Is able to put the ball on the floor and make good moves when driving to the basket. Is a great force when it comes to obtaining rebounds.

 

Amosun Toluwase 6-7, Forward, Holy Cross High School, Class of 2026 - A forward that has that has great size and can post up smaller defenders and drive past them. Is able to drive to the basket and can finish in transition. Has great hands and is a fixture when it comes to rebounding and blocking shots.

 

Dior Anderson 6-3, Point Guard, The Patrick School (NJ), Class of 2026 - A guard that is known for making heady plays and is able to run a team efficiently. Has the ability to hit jumpers from mid-range or from three-point range. Has plenty of quickness and can get to the basket with ease. Is able to distribute the ball to his teammates and give them opportunities to score.
