2026 NYC Honor 17u Player Profiles

NYC Honor is an elite grassroots program that sources its high level D1-bound talent from the Greater New York City area. The team is a strong contender in the Made Hoops Circuit. The program was founded and is coached by veteran AAU coach Nazim “Nas” Perovic and former college assistant coach Mike Murray.


Anthony Mauro (2027) 6’1 point guard, College Achieve Asbury Park (NJ) - sMauro is a Southpaw lead guard, who can score at all three levels. Elite competitor that can single handily change a game. Surprisingly high level athlete that can play above the rim. He is the type of player that can do whatever is asked of him, defends the ball 94 feet and could lead a team in any statistically category.


Andrew Adegbite (2027) 6’6 small forward, MacDuffie School (MA) - Adegbite is a mismatch problem for most teams, with his ability to play inside and out. He uses his 42 inch vertical leaping ability in being an elite level rebounder, who can finish with either hand as well as punish the rim. His football-player type build allows him to defend both on the perimeter and on the block. He is a solid catch and shoot three point shooter, which sets up his ability to attack panicky close outs and play off two feet.

 

Brooklyn Jelinsky (2027) 6’5 shooting guard, Wayne Hills High (NJ) - Jelinsky is a high IQ, knock down shooter with range and good size. He is unselfish, can get paint touches and make plays for others.

 

Max Kellogg (2027) 6’3 guard, Williston Northampton School (MA) - Kellogg is a crafty combo guard with good size. He can do a little bit of everything on the court. He is a solid three point shooter, with the ability to also get in the paint and make plays for himself and teammates. Kellogg is an aggressive on ball defender that competes on every possession. Emmanuel Malok (2027) 6’11 center, St Thomas More (CT) - Malok potentially has the most upside on this NYC Honor team. He is a very skilled center that can finish at the rim, as well as stretch the floor with his three point shooting ability. He has soft hands with great touch in the paint. Elite level rebounder and shot blocker with his 7’5 wing span. Offered by UMass-Lowell


Nando Mirarchi (2026) 6’0 point guard, Cathedral Prep (PA) - 2025-26 Pennsylvania Sports Writers All State 1st Team.  Mirarchi is a crafty point guard with lightning speed and the ability to shoot from all over the court. He can create with the dribble or ball screen, as well as play off the ball and contribute at a high level. Offered by LaSalle. 3.8 gpa Video highlights

 

Carter Prizzi (2027) 6’10 center, St. Francis Prep - Prizzi can impact the game with his size and skill. He is a shot blocker, and he has the ability to rebound on both ends of the floor. Offensively skilled with soft hands, solid footwork and can finish around the rim with both hands. High motor with solid speed, runs the floor well and knows how to space in the half court. High ceiling and potential, currently hearing from Ivy League, Patriot League and MAAC level D1 schools.  3.8 gpa

Austin Workman (2027) 6’6 shooting guard, MacDuffie School (MA) - 2025-26 New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Year. Workman is a three level scorer that can get hot and fill it up quick. He is crafty with the dribble and can get where he wants on the floor at any time. Workman is a downhill driver that can finish with a highlight dunk at the rim, or can stop on the dime and consistently make the mid-range jumper. He has very high upside potential.
