2026 NY Lightning 16u-EYBL Player Profiles

The New York Lightning (NYL) is one of the region’s most highly regarded grassroots programs, known for producing high talent, high character college-bound players and being stacked with a deep bench of excellent coaches. The program is co-directed by Dana Dingle and Shandue McNeill.
Their 16u-EYBL team is coached by former former NBA player, two time NCAA D1 leading scorer and former Long Island University Assistant Coach, Charles “CJ” Jones, and it competes in the Nike EYBL circuit, and their team roster is as below

#0 Anthony “TJ” Elor (2028) 6’2 guard, Archbishop Molloy High - Elor is a shifty and crafty athletic guard with potential to be a scoring threat at the collegiate level. He is showing improved passing ability and defense.
#1 Hector Almodovar Jr. (2028) 5’10 point guard, Cardinal Hayes High - Almodovar is a pure point with great passing ability, court awareness, IQ, off and on-the-ball defense. He has tons of potential. Coach CJ is working him to him take more advantage of scoring opportunities.
#2 Aaron Tutt (2028) 5’11 guard, Forest Hills High - Tutt is an athletic and shifty guard. He attacks the basket at will, finishing well against length. He is a really good on-ball defender and is a good rebounding guard. Tutt is a capable passer and has added improved shooting to his game. Tutt has a lot of potential
#3 Bryce Yancey (2028) 6’0 guard, Cardinal Hayes High - Yancey is a point guard with a knack for scoring. He is good both as an on and an off-the-ball defender. Yancey is a good rebounding guard. He can finish against length. Yancey is showing huge potential.
#5 Supreme Hinton (2028) 6’4 wing, Mt St Michael Academy - Hinton is a very athletic wing with a knack for rebounding against taller players. He is a good on-ball defender. Hinton has shown improved ball handling and has hit big shots when needed. Coach CJ is looking to see consistency from this improving talent, with plenty of potential
#10 Rob Hall (2028) 6’5 small forward, Bloomfield High (CT) - Hall consistently shows the ability to defend multiple positions. He is also rebounding well against taller players. Hall is an athletic Swiss Army knife with a lot of potential. He is a capable ball handler and can hit shots at times when needed\.
#11 Kamari Johnson (2028) 6’6 small forward, Thomas Jefferson Campus - Johnson is a crafty and scrappy defender with a consistent midrange jumper and can hit the 3 at times. He has potential would, and Coach Jones is pressing him rebound it a little more, in order to improve his impact at the next level.
#12 Nolan Jeanmarie (2029) 6’7 forward, Our Savior Lutheran School - Jeanmarie is playing up a year, against many of the nation’s top players this spring. He finishes well around the basket. He is a hard worker that is improving. He can hit the midrange jumper and makes 3’s.
#13 Jack Michael Martinez (2028) 6’2 point guard, St Benedicts High (NJ) - Michael is a crafty leed, with good court vision and passing ability. He is also a good on ball defender,
