2026 EYBL Session 3 Top Performers

This past weekend, May 23-24, we traveled to the Homefield Kansas City facility in Kansas City, MO for the third session of Nike EYBL circuit play. EYBL is a league for many of the premier grassroots teams in the United States and Canada. Throughout the weekend, we saw some of the finest talent from the New York City metro area and from the New England area in action. Here are the standouts from this weekend’s event.
Micah Gordon 6-0, Point Guard, Plainfield High School (NJ), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to be a true playmaker when he’s in control of the ball. Has a penchant for finding his teammates when they’re open on the break and can put them in position to score. Is able to score in bunches and create for himself off he dribble and drive to the basket. Is also known to hit jumpers from long range.
Joel Patrick, 6-10, Forward, St. Joseph Metuchen High School (NJ), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2028 - A forward that has the ability to be a dominant force in the post. Has the ability to block shots and be a presence on the boards when it comes to obtaining rebounds. Has a penchant for being a force in the paint area on the offensive end, as he is able to finish efficiently when in the low post.
Colton Hiller, 6-6, Coatesville High School (PA), PSA Cardinals, Class of 2028 - A guard that has the ability to use his physicality on both ends of the court and has a great motor when on the court. Has a penchant for driving to the basket and using his explosiveness when going to the hole. Has the ability to shoot midrange jumpers and also long-range jumpers from the hole.
Zion Robinson 6-11, Forward, Hopkins School, Rens United, Class of 2027 - A forward that has a lot of size and is very skilled. Has a penchant for being the team’s defensive anchor and is a great shot blocker. On offense, he has a nice shooting touch and is a dominant force on the low block, as he is known for throwing down imposing dunks. Is able to put the ball on the floor and go the length of the floor when going down court. Is able to hold his own when it comes to attacking the glass.
Jackson Cullert 6-7, Forward, Hun School (NJ), Rens United, Class of 2027 - A guard that is a dominant offensive threat whenever he steps on the floor. Is able to attack in transition and is able to drive down court and finish efficiently at the basket. Is a player that is known hitting plenty of long range jumpers from three-point range. Is able to move around when off the ball and can find ways to be open for a pass that could potentially lead to a scoring opportunity.
Morell Toney 6-4, Shooting Guard, St. Mary’s High School, Rens United, Class of 2028 - A guard that has great court vision and has the ability to be a solid playmaker. Has a penchant for sticking to his man on the defensive end and is able to obtain steals that can turn into an offensive opportunity. Is a player that can get to the basket easily and is efficient at finishing. Has the ability to get his shot off efficiently.
Judah “Juice” Bontemps 6-2, Point Guard, St. James Performance Academy (VA), New York Lightning, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt when he has the ball in his hands. Has a penchant for using his quickness when on the fast break. Has a quick first step when he’s driving to the basket, as he is an efficient scorer when finishing with layups.
Josue Manya 6-9, Forward, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, New York Lightning, Class of 2028 - A forward that has plenty of strength and is a formidable force in the post area. Has a penchant for holding his own on the defensive end and blocking shots. Has the ability to crash the boards for rebounds on both ends of the court. Is an efficient finisher when muscling his way to the basket for two.
Yandel German 6-0, Point Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, New York Lightning, Class of 2027 - A guard that is known for being a true leader on the floor and is able to aid his team in various ways. Has a penchant for playing lockdown defense against the opposition and can force turnovers on the opposition. Is very fearless when it comes to driving to the basket for two and has the ability to get his shot off from mid-range when in transition. Has the ability to find his teammates for passes that can potentially lead to scoring opportunities.
Jonathan White, 5-10, Point Guard, Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (MA), New Jersey Scholars/Team Spartans, Class of 2027 - A guard that has the ability to take over a game on the offensive end at all times. Is able to showcase his quickness when on the fast break and is able to attack in transition. Has the ability to shoot at a high volume, especially when it comes to shooting jumpers.
Jamaal McKnight Jr. 6-0, Point Guard, Long Island Lutheran High School, Team Durant, Class of 2027 - A guard that is a true floor general and can make his presence felt on the court in various ways. Is a player that can facilitate to his teammates and can make sure that they have the ball and stay in position to score. Is able to attack in transition when going to the basket to score on a layup. Is willing to stick with his man and has great defensive tendencies, as he is able to force the opposition into turning over the ball.
