2026 Crown Basketball 16u-MHC Player Profiles

The Crown Basketball program is based out of Long Island. It is a highly respected program with experienced coaches who are developing talent at all ages. The program head is Chris Diasparra, a former assistant coach and player at Adelphi University.
The 2026 Crown Basketball 16u MHC team is coached by Tray Alexander and Mike Sixsmith. Alexander is a Pace University Assistant Coach. He had a remarkable playing career as a Setter, where among other honors, he was the NE10 Player of the Year and a D2 All American. Sixsmith is a former college player at Sacred Heart University, where among other accolades he led the team in assists and was named to the NEC All-Rookie Team.
The 2026 Crown Basketball 16u MHC plays on the MADE Hoops circuit, and the players are profiled below.
Jayden Barrows (2028) 6’8 forward, Uniondale High - Barrows has a 7’2 wingspan and Defensive Player of the Year potential. He can also stretch the floor with the 3. Has already picked up early interest from Mid-Majors. Barrows has as much potential upside as any player on Long Island.
Jayden Oden (2028) 6’5 small forward, Uniondale High - Oden is a athletic bulldog, built like an NFL linebacker. He thrives in transition and downhill. Oden needs to work on his shot, but his aggressiveness combined with defensive ability, makes him an intriguing prospect.
Malik Kamara (2028) 6’3 guard, Nazareth Regional High. Coming off of an incredible season with Nazareth, Kamara brings toughness and a smooth game. He has elite potential, combined with a freakish athletic ability. He should be one of the best players in the City this upcoming winter season.
Brady Dunne (2028) 6’1 guard, St Thomas More School (CT) - Dunne is the son of Marist University head coach, John Dunne. He brings a smooth game, with a high IQ. He gets his feet in the paint consistently, can play PG as well as SG, his greatest ability is his 3 point shot.
Dylan Hickman (2027) 6’2 point guard, Uniondale High - 2025-26 Nassau Conference Player of the Year. Hickman has great pace and never gets sped up. He is an intriguing prospect. Multiple D2s have reached out.
Nick Vlogiantis (2028) 6’3 guard, Peddie School (NJ) - Vlogiantis is transferring to Peddie from Garden City High. He is a left handed shooter and a high IQ player, with a smooth stroke. A true 3 and D kid.
Chase O’Brien (2028) 6’7 forward, Friends Academy - Coming off of a dominant year at Friends Academy, O’Brien brings physicality in the post offensively and defensively. A true instinct player, loves to bang in the post and offensive rebound.
Noah Patterson (2028) 5’7 point guard, Springfield Commonwealth Academy (MA) - Paterson is transferring to SCA from Freeport High. He is extremely fast. Reminds Coach Sixsmith of a young Tray Alexander. He is extremely quick, very good off of ball screens. A future captain at his school.
