Bridgeport Prep 2026-27 College Prospects
Bridgeport Prep is located in Connecticut’s largest city and it’s mission is to enhance their students-athletes academically, mentally, physically as well as provide them skill development. They play against the country’s best prep programs. Their National Team competes in the Power 5 AAA conference, and their AA Team competes in the Power 5 AA conference.
Greg Thomas is the head coach and he is assisted by Ponce James, Sr., Paul Fisher and Daren Irvin. Over the past seven years they have built a program up from scratch that is now sourcing D1 talent globally and can go toe-to-toe with any of New England’s power programs.
Their 2026-27 roster is again loaded with attractive college basketball prospects, as profiled below. They will draw college scouts to their Open Gym schedule this fall

Brandon Acosta (2027) 6’3 guard - A slasher, shooter and big-time rebounder from the guard position. Acosta defends and has the ability to impact the game even when not scoring.
Christian Hubbard (2027) 6’3 guard - A sharp shooter and slasher who can create for himself and others.
Diante James (2027) 5’10 point guard - 94’ disrupter and push the ball floor general. James is an efficient 3 point shooter, but he lives in the paint creating.
Elijah Joseph (2027) 6’10 forward - A thin-framed big who rebounds, block shots and can score in the paint and from the mid-post.
Uyiosa LaFrance (2027) 6’9 forward - A big body big who plays physical. LaFrance can get a bucket in the paint and stretch defenses with his ability to knock down 3 pointers.
Jaidan Pagan (2027) 6’7 forward - Pagan is a tough interior defender who as a nice touch around the rim. He is also a strong rebounder and shot blocker.
Joshua Quental (2027) 6’7 guard - A big guard who has the size and strength to play the power forward position. Quental can shoot and get slash and power buckets in the paint.
Omari Scott (2027) 6’6 guard - A tough strong hard nosed guard who attacks the rim and plays with power.
Owen Stearns (2027) 6’3 guard - “Mr Get-a-Bucket” can score the ball in a variety of ways. Sterns is a major 3 point threat.
Khalid Worthy Jr. (2027) 6’8 small forward -a lock down defender and big time rebounder with an offensive arsenal that allows him to score at all 3 levels. Super athletic.
Chase Graham (2028) 6’0 point guard - A crafty NYC guard that puts pressure on opponents on both ends of the floor.
Jaylin Lomax-Blackwell (2028) 5’10 point guard - A physical guard that can score and make plays for others. Super creative in the paint.
Enzo Mweli (2028) 6’8 forward - Enzo is a big time player. He checks all of the boxes! A 3 level scorer, big time defender, play maker and slasher.
Curt Marshall (2028) 6’6 small forward - Curt is a tremendous offensive talent. Curt is a slasher and playmaker who has a knack for getting to his spot.
Denim Bernal (2029) 6’1 guard - Super explosive guard that built in the mold of Dylan Harper. Strong guard that can get it do on every level
Manuel Ruiz (2029) 5’11 point guard - A clever and shifty European guard who is exciting and effective.
