Salisbury School 2026-27 College Prospects
Founded in 1901, Salisbury School is an elite all-boys, private college-preparatory boarding school in Salisbury, CT, located on a 740 acre campus in the northwestern corner of the state. It is funded with a $100 million endowment. It has 330 students from 9th to 12th grade with a student-to-teacher ratio of 5:1.
The boys basketball program competes in the highly competitive New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class A division. Players in recent years have gone on to play at schools including Harvard, Middlebury, Bowdoin, Rochester, St. Lawrence and several others.

Jayden Cromwell (2027) 6’8 small forward - A southpaw stretch forward, Cromwell impresses with his size and skillset while contributing on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he has the ability to pull opposing bigs away from the rim as a reliable shooting threat out to 3. Cromwell is comfortable making reads from the middle of the floor with the ability to attack to his left hand off the bounce or act as a finisher off rolls and dump-offs. He impresses defensively while playing both inside and out, serving as his team’s primary rim protector for extended stretches but also moving his feet comfortably when pulled out to the perimeter. Cromwell is also a major lob and rim run threat due to his high-level athleticism. Receiving heavy scholarship interest. Plays club ball with Team Northeast. Video highlights
Corey Hill (2027) 6’1 guard - 2025 British National Team 19u. Named 2025 British DII 19u Player of the Year. Averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists while playing against former college players. Highly skilled and crafty guard with consistent three-point shooting ability. Exceptional floor vision and ball-handling; plays with poise and control. Thrives under physical pressure and never gets sped up. High IQ. guard who was sidelined a bit this winter with a high ankle sprain but made Salisbury a MUCH better team when on the floor. Receiving heavy of D2 interest. Video highlights
JaKyri ‘Midnight’ Martin (2027) 6’4 guard - An immediate impact winner who can contribute on both ends of the floor in significant ways. Shooting the ball at a VERY high clip from deep on the EYBL circuit, while guarding at a very high level. Midnight possesses a lot of crucial skills that will make a division one program VERY happy. These skill sets helped him lead his former school to a D1 state championship in the state Louisiana. Some of these skillsets included his high IQ and ability to talk on both ends of the floor, while getting to his spots at will. Receiving heavy D1 interest. Video highlights
Tamari Reed (2027) 6’5 shooting guard, Salisbury School (CT) – Tamari will be one of the most exciting players in NEPSAC basketball this year. He is a VERY athletic, 3 level scorer who can get to his spots, knock down the three at a high clip, and gets downhill and out in transition with ease. He also is an elite on and off ball defender that gets steals and deflections at a high rate. He had a very strong showing this past season down at Dwyer High School in the Palm Beach area. Sean Smith-Sharkey (2027) 6’1 guard - 2025-26 All NEPSAC A Honorable Mention. 2025-26 All Western New England Prep Second Team. From Fresno, CA, Smith-Sharkey is an elite shooter with a quick release and in the gym range. Excellent on-ball defender with a quick first step. He continuously gets the ball to the right guys at the right time. High-motor player who brings energy to every possession. Makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. Hunter Salo (2029) 6’ 2 point guard, Salisbury School (CT) – Salo is a high I.Q, very athletic guard from Canada. He has been playing at a very high level on the EYBL Circuit. He moves well without the ball, shoots the 3 at a very high clip with limitless range and makes the right reeds, at the right times. Salo doesn’t get sped up due to his strong handle and pace. He has the ability to turn guys defensively while making guys with the ball very uncomfortable. He will have a major impact on prep basketball in year one. Plays club ball with Grassroots Elite-EYBL.
William Torti (2029) 6’5 small forward - Torti brings true positional versatility, comfortably impacting the game at the 3, 4, and 5. His ability to seamlessly shift roles makes him a matchup problem, whether he’s stretching the floor, battling inside, or defending across multiple positions. He contributes in all phases, with a well-rounded skill set that includes scoring, rebounding, and the ability to guard different types of players. Plays club ball with Rens United 15u.
