2026-27 Pomfret School (CT) Player Profiles
Pomfret School is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory boarding and day school in Pomfret, CT, serving 350 students in grades 9 through 12 and post-graduates.
The boys varsity basketball team competes in the talent-rich New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class B division, led by second year head coach Allen Harris. Coach Harris played D2 at Saint Anselm before transferring to Virginia State. He started coaching at Richard Bland College in 2014 as an assistant. From there, lead assistant at Lincoln University, then back to his alma mater as an assistant at Virginia State. He also coached at the professional level before moving into education.

Jimmer Donnelly (2027) 6’0 point guard - Floor General! Donnelly is a post grad from Millbury High (MA) where he averaged 15 pts 5rebs and 5 assists while shooting 38% from 3. He is a tough, high IQ player with great playmaking ability and deep range. Donnelly plays under control and plays with tremendous pace and competes at a high level on both sides of the ball. Ibukun Odutayo (2027) 6’8 forward - 2025-26 Western New England Preps Co-Defensive Player of the Year. Odutayo is an athletic forward who protects the rim and has great scoring touch. Has been offered by American International (D2). Plays club ball with House That We Built.
Colten Pacheco (2027) 6’2 point guard - 2025-26 All NEPSAC B-Large Honorable Mention. 2025-26 All Western New England Preps Third Team. A quick and crafty playmaking guard who can break down his defender and get to the paint with ease. Big time scoring guard who finishes well around the basket but is also a very unselfish player who makes the right reads. Great shot making ability and plays with 100% effort on each play. Aidan Petion (2027) 5’11 point guard - 2025-26 All Western New England Preps Third Team. Playmaking guard with great court vision and excellent passing abilities. Can break down his defender and get in the paint. Can knock down the 3 ball consistently and not afraid to sacrifice his body for the team. 3.9 gpa
Gabe Phillips (2027) 6’5 small forward - From Baldwin High (NY) where he averaged 15 pts and 10 rebs a game. Phillips is a high motor interior presence. A versatile forward who has a college-ready body. Scores at all 3 levels and competes on both ends of the floor. Plays club ball with House We Built. High gpa
Tysen Teixeira (2028) 6’2 guard - A transfer from Bishop Stang High (MA) where he averaged 21 pts 5 rebs and 4 assts last winter, and surpassed 1000 points scored in three seasons. Teixeira is a 3 level scorer with deep range and excellent playmaking ability and positional size. Plays with poise and is an excellent decision maker. Underrated defender who competes hard on both ends of the floor. Plays club ball with Team New England.
