2026-27 Westminster School College Prospects

The Westminster School is a private, coeducational college-preparatory, boarding and day school located in Simsbury, CT. The total student population is approximately 400, and includes pupils from 25 US states and 30 countries. Founded 1888, they educate grades 9-12 plus post graduate, on a 210-acre campus. Roughly 400 students from 25 states and 30 countries, 5:1 student-teacher ratio, The school has a reported endowment of >$100 million
It’s basketball program goes back to Westminster’s earliest days, where teams built a tradition of gritty, determined play. The team competes in the New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class B (mid-sized schools) division and the Founders League.
The team is coached by David Pringle. Coach Pringle is a Westminster post grad alum (‘04) who went on to star in college football at Tennessee State and Stonehill College. He is entering his 15th season as the head coach at Westminster.

Jayden Brito (2027) 6’5 small forward - Britto is a dual sport athlete (lacrosse), Brito is a universal big guy that can score, assist and defend at a high level. 3.3 gpa
Noah Morrin (2027) 6’1 guard - Morrin is a crafty guard who had good winter season for Longmeadow High (MA). Morrin has a good feel for the game and knows how to knock down open shots. Plays club ball with CT Takeover. 3.4 gpa
Ethan Villacis (2027) 6’2 guard - Villacis has been on varsity since his freshman year. As a starter, he did a little of everything for the team this year. He has a good feel for the game both ends. He’s also a college level baseball player. 3.1 gpa
Julien Wiggins (2027) 6’0 point guard - 2025-26 All NEPSAC B-Large. 2025-26 All Founders League First Team. 2024-25 NY Sports Writers Class AA All State First Team. 2024-25 Catholic High School Athletic Association (New York City) MVP. Wiggins is a floor general. He leads his team with poise and makes big plays when it matters most. Offered by Alcorn State, Fairfield, Caldwell University and D’youville University. Plays club ball with NY Rens - Shapiro. National Honor Society student. 4.0 gpa
Carson Dobeck (2028) 6’5 wing, Westminster School (CT) - Dobeck is a shooter/floor spacer with size. He rebounds and plays with edge. Plays club ball with Select Hoops. National Honor Society student. 4.0 gpa Video highlights
Elliot Goldberg (2028) 6’4 guard, Westminster School (CT) - Goldberg is shooting the heck out of the ball this season. He has excellent footwork for his size and does a really good job coming off screens and backpedaling into shots, and he shoots it pretty quickly. Receiving interest from Hofstra, Albany and Cornell. Plays club ball with Select Hoops. 3.6 gpa
Ethan Okafor (2029) 6’11 forward - Coach Pringle says Okafor “has a lot of natural potential and is starting to come into his own. His work ethic will make him a clear sought out prospect in his class by D1 coaches. Plays club ball with the Riverside Hawks. Video highlights
