2024 Crown Basketball 17u HGSL Player Profiles

The Crown Basketball program is based out of Long Island. It is a highly respected program with experienced coaches who are developing talent at all ages. The 17u HGSL team is coached by the program head, Chris Diasparra, a former assistant coach and player at Adelphi University.

 

The 2024 Crown Basketball 17u HGSL roster is as follows:


Brandon Arnold (2025) 6’3 guard, Kimball Union Academy (NH) - Arnold is very quick and has a tight handle. His change of direction is hard to stay in front of. He has an accurate and athletic jumpshot. Crafty in the lane. Offered by Quinnipiac.


Nolan Raymond  2025) 5’10 guard, Vermont Academy - Raymond plays team basketball, and competes on every possession He is he a reliable scorer, and a ball thief on defense.


Ryan Moesch (2026) 6’2 guard, Cushing Academy (MA) - Moesch who was the leading scorer in New York state averaging 37 points a game during his junior season at Chittenago this past winter. He has a quick first step and a wide ranging scoring package. Not only is he a prolific scorer, but he also makes a significant impact as a playmaker, displaying a keen basketball IQ and facilitating opportunities for his teammates. He crashes the boards with tenacity. On defense he actively gets into passing lanes, leading to steals and defensive stops.


Seth Pryor (2026) 6’7 small forward,,Cheshire Academy (CT) - Pryor has the ability to take you off the dribble or knock down shots. A good defender on or in help defense. Displayed the knack of blocking shots either in defending on the ball or rotating in from a help defense situation.


Joel Ferebe (2025) 6’6 small forward, Bellport High - A is a strong and athletic, above-the-rim player who is a serious double-double threat in every game.


Sean Glynn (2025) 6’5 small forward, Bellport High - Glynn is a strong physical player. He can score the ball many different ways, stretch the floor and hit the three and by being very efficient inside. Really good going to his left. 4.0 gpa


Justin Brown (2025) 5’10 point guard, Holy Trinity Diocesan High - Brown is an outstanding lefty shooter. He has a quick first step that he is using to attack the aggressive close-outs that his shooting talent draws. That is helping him advance his attack the basket and finish skills.  He works at developing his craft, and the consistent improvement shows.


Jordan Gabriel (2024/25) 6’8 forward, Archbishop Stepinac High (Choosing a PG school soon) - Gabriel was a big time impact player for CHSAA AA Champs Stepinac this past winter. He finishes through contact on the inside, and can step out and hit shots from outside. Gabriel also blocks shots, rebounds and runs the floor well.


John Spinoso (2025) 6’3 guard, Port Washington High - Per Coach Diasparra, Spinoso has a high of basketball IQ as anyone who has come through his program. Spinoso continues to make himself better.Great feel for the game on both ends. He reads passing lanes on defense and has excellent hands. Biggest strength offensively is he is an excellent passer, sees passes most players don’t see on the court. Can shoot the 3 and has good touch around the basket.
