The Millbrook School is a coeducational, college preparatory boarding school for students in grades 9-12. It’s 800-acre campus is located in Millbrook, NY. Its varsity basketball program has been on a steady rise over the past decade since coach Billy Thom took the helm. They compete in the NEPSAC Class B (mid-sized schools) conference. This upcoming season will feature another deep pool of college prospect talent:

Joseph Evangelista (2025) 6’0, 170lb, guard, Millbrook School (NY) - The first commit of the offseason for the Mustangs, this elite shooter has the potential to be a major replacement for Millbrook’s trio of college-bound shooting guards who graduated from the team this year. Maturity is just a part of what this experienced post-grad will bring to the table, as he will be looked upon to play a big role. Plays AAU with Riverside Hawks Select.  Video highlights

Amadou Fall (2025) 6’9, 195lb, forward, Millbrook School (NY) - While he is the son of a Senegalese basketball star, Fall is actually only in his fourth year of organized basketball. He has incredible length, even relative to his height, and he regularly uses this to his advantage on both ends of the floor, as he was one of the NEPSAC’s leading rebounders and blockers. Showing surprising quickness for his size, Fall is also a well above average rim-runner. Fall has a chance to play a major role for the Mustangs this year. Still polishing a young skill set, he continues to show exponential growth, averaging a near double-double during his junior year. All NEPSAC as a junior. Plays AAU ball with Riverside Select-Kuba. 3.7 gpa   Video highlights

Chase Garcia (2025) 6’2, 180 lb, guard, Millbrook School (NY) - Leading Millbrook in assists in addition to boasting one of the team’s highest 3-point percentages, Garcia will once again be asked to produce in all areas of the game this year, something he has already proven his ability to do last season. He brings a high level of versatility, basketball IQ, work ethic, athleticism, and skill to the floor. He regularly creates for others off the bounce and knocks down jumpers as an off-guard. 3.8 gpa   Video highlights

Peter Knapp (2025) 6’1, 175lb guard, Millbrook School (NY) - Knapp has the foundation to be a high-level D3 guard. High IQ, knock-down shooter, consummate teammate, are just a few of the ways Knapp has been described. He was a leader for Millbrook last season off the court as he recovered from injury. He is expected to garner interest from the D3 level within the next few months. Plays AAU with Rens United. 3.8 gpa

Zoumana Traore (2025) 6’7, 190 lbs wing, Millbrook School (NY) - Younger brother of a current St. John’s basketball player, Traore has incredible upside as a scholarship basketball player and potential future pro. He is a humble and hard-working athlete who creates opportunities for buckets on the offensive end, as well as for stops on the defensive end using his activity, motor, and length. He continues to develop his build and his skills at a very quick rate. His junior year surpassed expectations, as he led Millbrook to the NEPSAC championship, averaging a near-double-double, which included just under 20ppg, as well as one of the team’s highest 3-point percentages. All NEPSAC as a junior. offered by Fairfield. Plays AAU with PSA Cardinals. 3.5 gpa

Marcus Vega (2025) 5’11,160lb, guard, Millbrook School (NY) - Vega shows the potential to step into a bigger supporting role this year for the Mustangs. Part of one of the most notable rising senior classes in the NEPSAC, he will compete for minutes off the bench, but he has the experience to be a stabilizing factor this year.

Andre Widmer (2025) 5’10, 150lb guard, Millbrook School (NY) - Will be expected to play a big role as a senior for Millbrook. Quick with his hands and feet, he is also a naturally gifted soccer player. He shows great mechanics on his stroke, making him a threat on the offensive end, but he has also developed a pitbull mentality on the defensive side of the ball, something that will continue to set the tone for Millbrook’s full-court defense for the upcoming year. One of Millbrook’s fastest-developing players, his ceiling has yet to be located. 3.6 gpa

Francisco Santana (2026) 6’7”, 195 lbs, wing, Millbrook School (NY) - Originally from the Dominican Republic, Francisco brings a raw talent and natural athleticism to the court. A dynamic defender and above-the-rim finisher, Francisco continues to grow his game beyond just being a gifted athlete. He will be counted on as a major contributor for the Mustangs this year. 3.4 gpa

Hezi McCoy (2026) 6’2, 185 lbs, guard, Millbrook School (NY) - A freak athlete and former NY All-State selection, McCoy will be looked upon to step into a big role as a junior. His high effort and intensity are nearly unmatched, and it pays off as he makes his presence known on just about every play. Always the first to get on the floor for a loose ball or to take a charge, he is also one of Millbrook’s fastest developing players. 3.5 gpa

Marcos Wiscovitch-Frontera (2026) 6’5, 185 lbs, guard, Millbrook School (NY) - Coming into his third season at Millbrook, Wiscovitch-Frontera might be the X factor for the Mustangs this year. Long, quick, and quickly developing guard skills, he could add an offensive punch and a rebounding presence that exceed just about any prospect in his class. Able to guard 1-4, Wiscovitch-Frontera has already proven to be a solid addition to the Mustangs’ rotation. His ceiling has yet to be located.
