2024 Respect All Fear None Showcase Top Performers

On Saturday, September 21, RecruitTheBronx.com paid a visit to John Philip Sousa Middle School Campus in the Baychester section of The Bronx for the Respect All Fear None Showcase, which is a preseason event showcasing many a few of the premier teams in the Tri-state area. On this date, we caught the final two games of the event, with DeWitt Clinton taking Monsignor Scanlan to overtime and winning and then St. Raymond playing Our Saviour Lutheran and emerging victorious. Here are the standouts for the final two games:

 

Eric Fagin, Jr. 6-4, Forword, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2025 - A forward that has the ability to hold his own when on the court. Has the ability to attack the glass for rebounds and is able to absorb contact when he’s in the post area. Has a penchant for stepping out on the perimeter and shooting from three-point range.

 

Kemar Martin 6-3, Shooting Guard, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on both ends of the court. Is able to drive to the basket and can finish in transition. Is able to shoot from three-point range and is always looking to be open.

 

Elijah Jenkins 6-4, Shooting Guard, Monsignor Scanlan High School, Class of 2027 - A guard that has a penchant for being a playmaker on the floor. Is able to drive to the basket and is a very explosive player when going to the basket. Is a player that has superb athleticism and can shoot midrange jumpers.


Anthony Durant, Jr. 5-10, Shooting Guard, DeWitt Clinton High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to make his presence felt on the court. Has the ability to get open and anticipate a pass. Is able to flash to the basket and can get to the basket with ease. Is able to shoot from three-point range.

 

Kion Danso 5-10, Point Guard, DeWitt Clinton High School, Class of 2026 - A guard that has a penchant for running the team on and controlling the tempo. Has the ability to using his quickness to his advantage on the floor. Is able to distribute the ball to his teammates so that they can be in scoring position.


Gabriel Rodriguez 6-6, Forward, DeWitt Clinton High School, Class of 2025 - A forward that is very solid in the post and is a player that can hold his own. Has the ability to absorb contact when it comes to obtaining rebounds. Is able to finish when it comes to layups and putbacks when going up to score.


Brandon Stores, Jr. 6-4, Forward, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2025 - (Georgia Tech commit) A forward that is able to come through for his teammates during certain moments on the floor. Is able to outwork taller players for rebounds and is able to finish efficiently at the basket. Is able to step out and shoot midrange jumpers.

 

Na’Jay Bess 6-4, Shooting Guard, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2026 - A guard that is able to provide a lot of energy on the floor for his team. Is able to play off the dribble and is able to find ways to get open on the floor. Is able to get to the basket and can finish efficiently when going up for two.

 

Tai Turnage 6-0, Point Guard, St. Raymond High School, Class of 2025 - A guard that has the ability to be a playmaker and help his team in various ways when on the court. Has a penchant for distributing the ball to his teammates and can help put them in position to score. Has the ability to play tough defense and obtain steals.

 

Ayomi Odetoyinbo 6-9, Forward, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Class of 2025 - A forward that has plenty of length and has the ability to be a factor on both ends of the court for his team. Has plenty of length, as he is known for his ability to obtain rebounds and block shots. Is dominant around the rim on the offensive end.

 

Jordan Skyers 6-2, Shooting Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Class of 2026 - A guard that has the ability to an offensive threat on the court. Is very explosive when on the offensive end and is able to finish when at the rim. Is also able to get his shot off from three-point range and also from the perimeter.

 

Jermel Thomas 6-2, Point Guard, Our Saviour Lutheran High School, Class of 2026 - A guard that is able to control the tempo of the game and is able to distribute the ball to his teammates, which puts them in position to score. Is able to stick with his man on the defensive end and can force them into turning over the ball. Has a penchant for getting his shot off from midrange and is also able to drive to the basket.
