2025 Level Up LI Player Profiles

Level Up LI is in its eighth year and is one of the fastest growing youth travel AAU basketball programs in the tri-state NY area. Their mission is to create the top travel basketball teams focusing heavily on individual and team development for their players both on and off the basketball court. The primary focus is to help their players reach their full potential. All of their coaches and trainers excelled at the college level as players or coaches. Jesse Winter is the program’s President.

Level Up LI - 17u Callender/Davis
This team is coached by Nazareth Memorial High varsity coach and former Queens College Assistant Coach Nikko Callender and former All City player Anthony Davis.
Carter Abernathy (2026) 6’1 shooting guard, Long Island Lutheran National Team - Abernathy is a strong 6’3 wing that shoots it well and is sneaky athletic. He runs the floor well and plays well in a system. Defends well at multiple positions
Amari Desir (2026) 6’0 shooting guard, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - Desir can fill it up in bunches. He scores it well at all 3 levels and has a strong frame to get to spots. He won MVP in PSSA conference championship for LuHi.
Ray “Tru” Bradley (2025) 6’3 shooting guard, Copiague High - A super athletic, high energy wing that thrives in the open court. He guards and rebounds well at his position. He is a capable shooter and a strong driver.
Derick Reynolds Jr. (2025) 5’11, point guard, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - Reynolds is an under-control guard who makes open shots and does well getting to spots. He is a solid defender. Young for his grade. 3.7 gpa
Ryan Schmitt (2026) 6’5 wing, South Side High - Schmitt is a super athletic wing who blocks shots and finishes at the rim at a high level. A great prospect with the tools he brings.
Geremyah Shaw-Glen (2026) 6’5 wing, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - Shaw-Glen is a good two-way player who guards all positions well for his size. He plays with high energy. He is really versatile in getting downhill and playmaking for himself and others.
Jordan Rabinovich (2026) 6’5 small forward, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - Rabinovich is a shooter with guard skills. He has sneaky athleticism and playmaking ability. Young for his grade. 3.6 gpa
Darren Brown (2026) 6’4 wing, Uniondale High - An athletic wing who excels in defending the passing lanes, transition offense and on the boards. Young for his grade. Good gpa
Nick Anson (2026) 6’1 guard, Lawrence Woodmere Academy - Anson is a strong guard who bullies his way and scores through contact. He shoots the ball well and guards well with his strength and quick feet.
Tyler Liatuad (2026) 6’3 wing, St Dominic High - A wing who guards every position. He is sneaky athletic and plays a good point forward. He plays the game the right way, makes winning plays for himself and others. Selfless as they come.
Dion Morris Jr. (2026) 6’2 wing, Uniondale High - A strong wing who is sneaky athletic. He is a good defender, blocks shots and rebounds well. Offensively, he plays off 2 feet and can shoot. He would be a good 3&D wing at the next level.
Keith Bernardin (2025) 5’10 point guard, Valley Steam North High - Bernardin shoots it well. He is sneaky athletic and uses that to guard his position well.
Level Up LI - 17u Price
Sean Arnott (2025) small forward, 6’4, South Side High - Lengthy 4 man who is excellent in transition and on the defensive end. Uses his length to block shots and rebound. Great touch around the rim. Intangibles guy that does things that don’t show up on stat sheet. 3.6 gpa
Christian Frey (2026) 6’0 shooting guard, Mineola High - Quick guard who is able to get out in transition extremely well. Three level shooter and scorer, has great pop on his jumper and can finish around the rim. Uses his athletic ability to lock in on defense and cause havoc.
Vince Rienze (2026) point guard, 5’9, Valley Stream North High - Quick, high IQ, floor general who can control a game. He is excellent in transition, can shoot the 3 ball and also score at all levels. Good touch around the rim and feel for the game. 4.0 gpa
Murphy Moore (2026) 6’2 wing, St. Anthony’s High - Smart 3 man who is great driving to the middle and using footwork in the paint. Can shoot it from deep consistently. Very high IQ off the ball and plays his role. Great kid with good vocal presence.
Brody Gazzo (2026) 6’0 shooting guard, Northport High - Athletic wing with great explosiveness off the bounce attacking closeouts. Can stretch the floor in transition with a good shot and will get downhill with crafty, strong finishing. Quiet kid with a good motor.
Connor Erickson (2026) 5’11 shooting guard, South Side High - Athletic, strong 1-2 guard that can light it up from deep when he gets hot. Can finish crafty around the rim and with some contact. Good gpa
Charles Avallone (2026) 6’1 small forward, New Hyde Park High - Strong guard who is great getting to the rim and is not afraid of physicality. Uses good footwork in the paint and is patient. Good on ball defender.
Sean O’Neil (2026) 5’10 point guard, Valley Stream Central High - Very high IQ point that is built like a running back and plays bigger than he is. Will post up smaller guards and plays with great pace in the half court and transition. Scores at all three levels and is a good defender with his strength and quickness.
Aidan Windhausen (2026) 6’4 forward St. Dominic’s High - Undersized big that is versatile. Loud voice and a great teammate. Can stretch the floor and knock down threes but plays within his role based on his team. Team first guy. Good gpa
Ryan Manu (2026) 5’10 shooting guard, Mineola High - Vocal combo guard who can knock down shots beyond the arc as well as pull ups in the lane. Plays game at a good pace and in control. Great teammate who is a voice on the defensive end and can run in transition and finish. 3.3 gpa

Brayden Ojeda (2027) 6’0 point guard Archbishop McClancy High - Ojeda is a hard nosed point guard that doesn’t back down from anyone. He is a terror in attacking the basket and is hard to stop going downhill. He is a playmaker for himself and others. Physical defender and leader on both ends.
Cameron Obijuru (2027) 6’0 shooting guard, St. Dominic’s High - Obijuru scores at three levels and can get hot in a hurry. He has a smoothness to his game and can create for himself or get his in the rhythm of the offense.
Jack Yin (2027) 6’0 point guard, Roslyn High - Yin is a pass-first point guard that is very unselfish and finds teammates in their spots. He is an athletic player that can match up 1-4. He has a tight handle and attacks basket with speed. 3.8 gpa
Ben Pnini (2027) 5’10 shooting guard, Roslyn High - Pnini is a score first guard who can light it up from deep, one of Long Island’s most prolific three ball shooters. He is capable of knocking down 5+ 3s on any given game. He is also a crafty finisher with both hands and has a soft touch on his floater in the lane. 3.0 gpa
Davon White (2027) 6’1 guard, Roslyn High - White is an athletic guard that attacks well in transition. He is a solid defender that can guard the other team’s best player, can match up 1-4.
Andrew Ma (2027) 6’0 point guard, Plainview High - Ma is an athletic guard that is great at penetrating the paint creating for himself and others. When he goes to the basket, he can finish with either hand around and over taller defenders. 4.0 gpa
Ethan Brake (2027) 6’4 small forward, Plainview High - Brake is a big with great foot work and can score all about the basket. Whether it’s in the pick and roll or posting up, he can get his shot from inside or out. He also has the ability to space the floor and knock down 3s and can control the boards on both sides. 3.6 gpa
Zack Brymer (2027) 6’0 shooting guard, Long Beach High - Brymer is an athletic guard who plays hard on both ends of the floor. He can score and create for others. He is also a very good on-ball defender. 3.7 gpa
Aiden Barilan (2027) 5’11 wing, Half Hollow Hills East High - Barilan is a stocky wing that can play inside and out. He’s the Draymond Green that plays bigger than he is. He will do all the little things and plays winning basketball. He is a great passer who loves to create plays for others.
Roko Lozina (2027) 6’1 wing, Locust Valley High - Lozina is a long and athletic wing that uses his size and jumping abilities to get opportunities around the rim. He plays defense at a high level and alters shots with wings span. He is very fast with long strides and runs the floor well in transition.

Vincent Napolitano (2028) 5’8, point guard, Wantagh High - Napolitano is a quick point guard who sets up the offense and gets everyone involved. He defends 94 feet, has a tight handle and uses his craftiness and strength to finish at the basket. Good gpa
James Romanello (2028) 5’9, point guard, Syosset High - Romanello is an athletic and explosive guard who plays at a high level on both ends of the floor. He is super hard to stay in the front of, especially when he gets downhill. He has a great pull up jump shot off the dribble. Good gpa
Aden-Amir Jones (2028) 6’2 small forward, Sachem East High - Jones holds down the paint and is the anchor of the defense. He is a high IQ player that is very coachable. He is great at the high post and can step out and knock down the 3. His game is evolving from a big to a wing. 4.3 gpa
Carter Abraham (2029) 5’11 shooting guard, Portledge School. Recently named Long Island’s 8th grade Player of the Year.
Jake Cuoco (2028) 6’3 guard, Syosset High - Cuoco is a lanky guard that can get in the paint and create for others. He guards multiple positions using his his athleticism and length. He is the ultimate Swiss Army knife on offense. Good gpa
Markai Gustinvil (2028) 6’1 wing, Sachem North High - Gustinvil is a lanky wing that can defend 1-5 and locks down the wing and anything going to the basket. He is a real threat in transition that can finish over defender in the paint. He creates highlight plays that gets his team going to build momentum.
Alphonse Trucchio (2028) 6’1 wing, Archbishop Molloy High - Trucchio is a 3 man that can shoot and help the team spread the floor. He can get hot and attacks well going left.
Michael Pahlavan (2028) 5’11 shooting guard, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - Pahlavan is a knockdown shooter with a high, quick release from 3. He is a lefty gthat is score-first. He is skilled and knows how get to his own shot.
Chayce Bennett (2028) 6’1 wing, Jericho High - Bennett is a long and athletic wing that can mix it up in the paint and on the perimeter. He’s a force on the glass and can block shots when contesting at the rim.
Dominick Hampl (2028) 5’10 shooting guard, St. John the Baptist High - Hampl - An athletic guard that drives to the basket with aggression. Can rattle off multiple 3s in a row when he gets hot. Solid defender who makes it hard for opponents to get going.
