2025 Crown Basketball 17u HGSL Player Profiles

The Crown Basketball program is based out of Long Island. It is a highly respected program with experienced coaches who are developing talent at all ages. The 17u HGSL team is coached by the program head, Chris Diasparra, a former assistant coach and player at Adelphi University.
The 2025 Crown Basketball 17u HGSL play on the Hoop Group Showcase League circuit, and their roster is as below.
#2 Ryan Moesch (2026) 6’0 point guard, Cushing Academy (MA) - 2024-25 All NEPSAC Class AA. 2024-25 New England Basketball Journal Class AA, First Team. 2024-25 National Prep All American as a junior. #145 ranked player in the nation by 24/7 Sports. #17 ranked player in New England by Prep Hoops. The 2024-25 New England Basketball League Player of the Year, so that’s the POY in the highest ranked prep league in the nation, as a junior. Gatorade Player of the Year finalist. Dynamic scoring guard. However, the best thing that Moesch does is pass. He has incredible vision and gets wherever he wants with the ball. Ridiculously quick and shifty. Defenses have to play him extended because of his deep range. Averaged 17ppg/7apg/4rpg for 26-6 Cushing Academy. Holds well over a dozen scholarship offers, including Iona, Duquesne, Akron and Fairfield.
#3 Nolan Raymond (2025) 5’10 point guard, Vermont Academy - Raymond has very quick twitch to him which keeps defenders guessing. He hustles for rebounds, knocks down three pointers in bunches and has good vision as a passer. He was the floor general for a Vermont Academy team that finished computer ranked as the number 8 team in the nation.
#10 Brandon Arnold (2026) 6’3 guard, Kimball Union Academy (NH) - Arnold is very quick and has a tight handle. His change of direction is hard to stay in front of. He has an accurate and athletic jump shot. Crafty in the lane. Offered by Quinnipiac.
#22 Seth Pryor (2026) 6’8 small forward, Cheshire Academy (CT) - Pryor has the ability to take you off the dribble or knock down shots. A good defender on or in help defense. Displayed the knack of blocking shots either in defending on the ball or rotating in from a help defense situation.
#24 Sean Glynn (2026) 6’5 wing, Bellport High - Glynn is a strong physical player. He can score the ball many different ways, stretch the floor and hit the three and by being very efficient inside. Really good going to his left. 4.0 gpa
#30 Justin Brown (2026) 6’4 guard, Cheshire Academy (CT) - Brown is an outstanding lefty shooter. He has a quick first step that he is using to attack the aggressive close-outs that his shooting talent draws. That is helping him advance his attack the basket and finish skills. He works at developing his craft, and the consistent improvement shows.
#35 Jordan Gabriel (2025) 6’8 forward, Perkiomen School (PA) - (Marist College commit) Gabriel finishes through contact on the inside and can step out and hit shots from outside. Gabriel also blocks shots, rebounds and runs the floor well.
#38 Joel Ferebee (2026) 6’6 small forward, Bellport High - Ferebee is a strong and athletic, above-the-rim player who is a serious double-double threat in every game.
#55 John Spinoso (2026) 6’5 guard, Cheshire Academy (CT) - Per Coach Diasparra, Spinoso has a high of basketball IQ as anyone who has come through his program. Spinoso continues to make himself better. Great feel for the game on both ends. He reads passing lanes on defense and has excellent hands. Biggest strength offensively is he is an excellent passer, sees passes most players don’t see on the court. Can shoot the 3 and has good touch around the basket.
