Archbishop Stepinac High School is an all-boys’ Roman Catholic high school in White Plains, New York. Over the past decade, no program has done a better job of tapping into and developing the high potential college basketball prospect talent of Greater New York City. The boys varsity basketball team under Coach Pat Massaroni has helped lead a surge of Greater New York City basketball back into being considered one of the nation’s premier sources for High Major college recruiting. Massaroni is in his eleventh year coaching the varsity team, alongside his assistant coaches Rodney Swain, Allan Sheppard, and Alexis Nunez. Last year, they guided the Crusaders to an impressive 26-4 overall record. Under Massaroni’s leadership, Stepinac has secured three CHSAA “AA” City Championships. Last year’s team garnered the 17th spot in the United States according to Blue Star Media’s High School Basketball Rankings. They also won their second consecutive New York City championship in their final game with a win over the public school’s best Jefferson High.

For 2025-26, Stepinac is one of ten outstanding national level programs selected to be part of the Tradition Alliance. The teams will play each other, in very high profile and closely watched games.
