2025-26 Canarsie Educational Campus Key Players

Canarsie Educational Campus is in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Canarsie. It houses three schools, the High School for Medical Professions, the Urban Action Academy and the High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media.
Their boys varsity basketball team competes in the Brooklyn/Staten Island 4A II division. Their head coach is Jacob Edwards. Last year, they went 16-12, supplementing their challenging PSAL schedule with an equally impressive nonleague slate.

Devin Clarke (2026) 6’8 forward - Clarke has an impressive combination of size, skill, and scoring ability. He dominates in the paint with his strength, excellent footwork and touch around the rim while also stretching the floor with a confident and reliable 3 point shot. He uses his size and positioning well to control the boards on both ends of the court. Defensively, he uses his length and mobility to both protect the paint and contest perimeter shots.
PJ Singleton (2026) 6’6 guard - Singleton is a standout who continues to impress with his skill, leadership and work ethic on and off the court. Singleton has developed into a strong presence in every game. He is a confident scorer with the ability to finish at the rim, knock down long-range shots and stretch the floor. He has a high basketball IQ, sees the floor well, makes smart decisions and creates opportunities for his teammates. Singleton is a vocal leader who sets the tone with energy, discipline and team work. He is a high character young man who performs in the classroom as well.
Anthony Anderson (2026) 6’5 small forward - Anderson is a hard working player who embraces his role to help the team in any way possible, such as boxing out, setting screens and making hustle plays. He brings energy, toughness and reliability. He has strong finishing touch and left handed play in attacking the rim. He keeps possessions alive with his offensive rebounding, and he takes pride in his ability to guard 1-5. He is a selfless, team-first player that is committed to winning.
Justin Rodriguez (2027) 6’0 point guard - Rodriguez is a dynamic and impactful lead guard. He uses his confident ball handling, sharp shooting and excellent decision making to run the offense effectively. He makes high IQ decisions, rarely forces plays and thrives in late game situations. He is a vocal and confident leader and a strong college prospect.
Rhoman Gittens (2028) 6’2 guard - Although only a sophomore, Gittens has already shown the ability to make an impact. With his size,athleticism and mindset, he is a strong on-ball defender who takes pride in locking down opposing guards. Offensively, he uses his quick first step and strength to consistently attack the basket and finish through contact. Gittens shows discipline in his academic studies and maturity on the court. Coaches value his competitive edge, work ethic and commitment to the team’s success.
