2026 Level Up 17u CC Player Profiles

Level Up is in its ninth year and is one of the fastest growing youth travel AAU basketball programs in the Tri-state NY area. Their mission is to create the top travel basketball teams focusing heavily on individual and team development for their players both on and off the basketball court. The primary focus is to help their players reach their full potential. All of their coaches and trainers excelled at the college level as players or coaches. Jesse Winter is the program’s President.
The 17u-CC team is coached by Long Island Lutheran Regional head coach and former Queens College Assistant Coach Nikko Callender. The team plays on the Made Hoops Challenger Circuit, hence, the “CC” in the team’s name. We profile the players below.

Geremyah Shaw-Glen (2026) 6’7 small forward, Long Island Lutheran Regional Team - 2025-26 All PSAA First Team. 2025 NYC Elite 32 Winter Invitational MVP.2025 Ballin 4 Peace Invitational Game MVP. Shaw-Glen is a good two-way player who guards all positions well for his size. He plays with high energy. He is really versatile in getting downhill and playmaking for himself and others. He has worked to become a much-improved jump shooter. Has been offered by Goldey Beacom (D2) and Adelphi (D2).
Jackson Southerland (2026) 6’3 guard, Our Saviour Lutheran School - Southerland is a strong guard who plays with good pace. He lives in the mid-range and is a sneaky good play maker. He makes plays defensively as well.
Ryan Schmitt (2026) 6’5 small forward, South Side High (Maritime College commit)- Schmitt is a super athletic wing with a strong frame. He blocks shots and finishes at the rim at a high level. A great prospect with the tools he brings.
Ben Pnini (2027) 5’11 guard, Roslyn High - Pnini is the best quick release shooter with range. He moves frequently to get shots and creates opportunities for his teammates with and without the ball because of his shooting prowess. Pnini has a sneaky quick first step and 3 level scoring ability.
Peter Lee (2027) 6’4 small forward, Thurgood Marshall High - Lee is a glue guy who plays his role well. He is a great teammate, a great shooter and a hard worker on defense rebounds for loose balls and always moving for shots on offense. He makes winning plays. 3.8 gpa
Tyler Liataud (2026) 6’3 guard, St Dominic High - A wing who guards every position. He is sneaky athletic and plays a good point forward. He put in the work to make himself an improved jump shooter. He plays the game the right way, makes winning plays for himself and others. Selfless as they come.
Devon Mitchell (2027) 6’7 center, Baldwin High - Mitchell is an active rebounder and shot blocker. He is a beast on the glass on both ends and thrives on setting screens and diving hard for shot attempts. Mitchell is a capable jump shooter as well.
Ethan Sainsbury (2026) 5’9 point guard, Baldwin High - Sainsbury is a true point guard, leader and winner. He has an electric first step both with the ball and as a defender. He has great playmaking ability and is a 3 level threat.
Cam Serrano (2026) 6’3 guard, North Babylon High - 2025-26 NYSSWA All State AAA 5th Team. 2026 Team Long Island IS8 All Star. Serrano is a 3 level scorer that has a knack for making tough shots. He is an underrated defender and playmaker. Serrano loves to compete and is a sneaky good athlete.
John John Walker (2027) 5’8 point guard, Francis Lewis High. Walker is a smart and savvy playmaker that uses angles and change of pace to get to spots and create for his teammates. He is also a tenacious defender who is not afraid to mix it up. A good 3 point shooter but lives in the mid range. 3.1 gpa
Chinonso Uchunor (2027) 6’7 forward, Martin Van Buren High - Uchunor and Mitchell put the “twin” in the team’s “Twin Towers” front court. Uchunor is also an active rebounder and shot blocker. A beast on the glass on both ends and thrives on setting screens and diving hard for shot attempts. Uchunor is a capable jump shooter with nice form.
