2026-27 Iona Prep Player Profiles
Iona Prepatory School is a Catholic community focused on developing young men into moral and ethical leaders who are dedicated to Christian service and who strive for spiritual, intellectual and physical excellence. Iona Prep sports teams compete in the highly competitive New York City Catholic High School Athletic Association, AA Division.
In its history, Iona Prep has won New York Catholic State Championships in 2009 and 2012, and City Championships in 1998, 2002, 2009, and 2012, along with several league titles. The team is head coached by Tim Philp back for his fourth year at the helm. Its Coach Philip’s third stint as a coach in the CHSAA; he compiled a 311-161 career record in the league as a coach for Archbishop Stepinac and Cardinal Hayes.

Chase Graham (2027) 6’1, 155lb guard
Elijah Joseph (2027) 6’10, 190lb forward
Thijs Kevorkian (2027) 5’11, 160lb point guard
Mike Kmetz (2027) 6’5, 185lb shooting guard - Kmetz’s 3 point shot keeps improving and good finisher around the rim and excellent rebounder. He can guard multiple positions. Glue of the team. Receiving D1 interest from Princeton, Harvard, Army, Navy, Dartmouth, Brown, Boston University and Cornell. High gpa
Josh Simmons (2027) 6’7, 210lb forward
Tommy Wolf (2027) 6’4, 185lb shooting guard - Wolf can score from 3, mid-range and attacking rim. He is a very good rebounder as well. Receiving D1 interest from interest from SUNY Binghamton, Vermont and Oral Roberts. 3.2 gpa
Dilen Mulaj (2028) 6’9, 330lb forward -6’9 330lb center. Mulaj has great hands and his footwork improving by the day. He is a great finisher and shot blocker. Extremely unselfish and good passer from the post. Excellent rebounder. High major football recruit, holds multiple D1 football offers, including UCLA, Ole Miss, Minnesota, Memphis, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Syracuse, Boston College, Maryland
Tyrone Mushatt Jr. (2028) 6’0, 160lb point guard
